Arizona Takes a Stand

Good for Arizona! Finally a state that has had the courage to stand up to the Federal Government who has done nothing to help with the drug trafficking, weapons smuggling and deadly crime that the citizens of Arizona have been facing. Racial profiling, no... it's more like criminal profiling. What about the Arizona farmer who was killed recently? What about him? There will be more.

Word of the day: fornickaboobery

I wonder what the Federal Government would do if California, New Mexico,Texas and Florida were to pass similar state legislation. Everyone is so worried about political correctness. Look what it has gotten us, more crime. Our president says he's going to address it, but won't pull his head out of the sand.

Boycott Arizona?? Give me a break. I want to fly to Phoenix for a Diamondbacks game, I am stocking up on Arizona Tea. The best hand lotion ever created is Arizona Sun.

Shotgun!

What kind of publicity stunt was BO trying to pull, by going to the Kennedy Space Center for a speech. The workers were not the ones he was talking to. It was a room full of dignitaries. I guess it would be tough expound to the NASA employees of his new plan and that 20,000 +/-would lose their jobs but on the upside. However on the upside, 2,500 new jobs would be created. To do what, maintenance, janitorial and landscaping? The shuttle, while being prepared for it's last mission, was in it's storage bay and the president never found his way there. He did however manage to visit a private company.

Word of the day: thumb

I never thought that in my lifetime we'd be bumming a ride on a rocket launched by the Russians. We have built a functioning space station and we will be at the benevolence of the Russians. "hey, got room for me?"

I kind of agree that the space program should veer toward private funding, but NASA and the government have frowned on any other entity but NASA. So the ground work never laid. The kibosh was put on anyone but NASA to conduct space exploration.
  • How long will it take private space enterprise to catch up to NASA?
  • Will these private companies be government subsided?
  • How much will the Russians charge us to send our man up to the space station?
  • Will it be cost effective to pay a US based company to send our man up into space?
  • Will we have to borrow more money from China to pay Russia (or anyone, for that matter) to let us mooch a seat?
  • What if Iran just wants to get to the moon? What tha @#$%&*?

Other than more job losses, how does the economy fit into this diversion?

I Can Smell November

Not only is November my birthday, but it is the Mid Term Election. The Socialist agenda is not sitting well with most 'working' Americans. BO's continued Pompous and condescending comments about/toward the 'Tea Party" activists is arrogant and disrespectful to many people who voted for him. I think many of the die hard Obama supporters are having a hard time justifying/explaining his actions. For what should we be thanking him?

I am a 'Tea Party' supporter and I resent the notion that the Socialists in power portray me as a racist, hillbilly, neo-nazi monster. Please, I go to work every day, take classes at the university, have a little garden and I like to read. I put in my 40 hours a week and it makes me angry that I do it knowing my money is used for more and more government entitlements and because of it, I have less to invest for the retirement of my choosing.

Word of the day: cavalier

Not surprising, next to Sarah Palin, it is nearly impossible to find a positive cartoon supporting the Tea Partiers.

Obama is scared. He would have no reason to address the Tea Party movement if he were confident in his promises, decisions and accomplishments. The whole Democrat party needs to be scared and liberal Republicans need to be scared too.

I am astounded that the media is still in his pocket. These media types must be complete buffoons. But then I suppose more attention will to go the news story with the most outrageous and villainous message.
I often wonder...
  • Are there any of them who don't agree with the job they are told to do.
  • Do any of them secretly support the Tea Party movement
  • Is this their scoop or are told to marginalize the 'Tea Party' movement
  • Are they afraid they will lose their jobs if they tell it like it is.
  • Do any of them get a good night sleep knowing they have twisted the truth
  • How do they sleep knowing most of their story is an out right lie
  • Why is it so hard to report this as a real grass roots movement
I sleep at night knowing I will have a say in the elections held here in Central Florida and that is where I will concentrate my efforts.

Rules of Thumb...

I never eat at my sewing machine or my computer. So why have I not lost any weight since my discovery of Facebook?

Back in the day when my Facebook life was simple, I was only playing Rollercoaster Kingdom, Fishville and Island Paradise.

  • Roller Coaster Kingdom, became too large and involved and our computer kept crashing (I even sold back part of my RK park, for a million coins, didn't help) So with much reluctance, like a balloon in a needle factory, I 'let it go'. But at least there are no unhappy clowns waiting in the parking lot)
  • Fishville has become a pointless exercise in buying fish eggs, hatching them and selling them for coins. But there is always something to rescue so I began filling my tank (yes, just 1) with sea horses, sea turtles, rays and sea snakes. The tank is full and I have no worries about something going hungry. However, I acquired a seahorse stable and installed it in the tank, but I cannot figure out how to put all my sea horses in it. Neighbors still gifting fish eggs and other stuff...

  • I started a eatery in Cafe World. Set up my little restaurant, expanded it about 5 times and then I had so many freebies in my gift box, my computer would crash every time I tried to use them. I think the game creators realized this was a problem with everyone so they made an adjustment and all food gifts would consolidate... game improved but what's the point...it's just play money and my Millions of coins are doing me no good. now stoves are empty, I am just accumulating free stuff. Maybe I'll crank it back up another day.
  • My Mafia Wars site has over 4 billion dollars in the bank...and that's after a 10% money laundering fee... My properties yield me nearly a billion dollars a day...so I no longer feel compelled to do petty jobs and fight to kill my Mafia neighbors...Now just pop in once or twice a day for "Cousin Guido" to collect on my properties... I can only upgrade properties so much. Nothing else to spend the cash on...

  • Somewhere there are disgruntled guests in Hotel City,

  • Rotting flowers and plants in Garden World, Sky City and Jungle Extreme

  • I no longer plant crops in Farmville and have put most animals in coops and barns. When there is something new, I go for it just in case I go back and need it...and, well I have it. I go in a couple times a week to harvest animals and trees. Who the HE double tooth picks TP'd my barn on April 1st?

  • And the list goes on...

    Word of the day: obsessive

I am still an Island Paradise maniac. There are cute animals, fun crops and trees to harvest...I have leveled up to the point there are no new crops but they have created cooking devices and recipes using harvested crops. I don't have any need to steal from my neighbors so much. I am sure they are grateful. I leave stuff up for them to steal from me. Now there are awards for cooking and petting the animals. I added a barn and will upgrade so I can pull out all the extra animals in storage and gift limbo. On April 1st, I logged on only to find that my island was devoid of everything and there were two pirates loading their loot bags...I was stupefied and didn't know what to do...so I just stared at them...I wish I had taken a picture of it. within minutes the island was restored...Happy April Fools..they left a booty bag with something that cheeps when I click on it... Seriously, I collected IP Easter eggs, and got a Bunny that that lays Easter Eggs. Go figure. What's next?

I have also discovered Country Life which has cute animals, and the most enchanting bees that pollinate the clover I have planted. they are hypnotic. I am trying to keep the farm small, so I can have some control. but I am considering putting in a Green House...and the plot is too small. I am accumulating materials to complete a brick mill. But those bees. Island paradise should add some. Bees scare me.

I am trying to get into Treasure Island. I just go to other islands and dig them up looking for treasure. When I run out of energy, I go back to my island and decorate it, while waiting for more energy points...then back to digging for treasure. Not sure how long this will keep my attention. Collecting jewels from neighbors and energy fruits. Cute butterflies were gifted to me and I put them over the two garden plots...but as soon as I did it, I had visions of worms eating my crops. We'll see.

Anywhoo, to do all this business, I am at my computer a lot...I should be skinny...guess I should get up, shut it off and go outside for a walk. Oh wait, my eggplant just came ripe...Gotta go!

    Just A Matter Of Time...

March Madness is over... and the baseball season has begun. BO was invited to throw out the first pitch for the Washington Nationals. Dressed in a Nationals jacket as he approached the mound he put on a Chicago Red Sox cap. He might as well have spit on the fans. Now for the long dry spell until Bowl Madness.

    Word of the day: seriously

Americans take their sports seriously from teams to individual players from Texas Hold'em to Golf. which brings me to my next topic. Tiger Woods is back. Personally I am glad. Granted what he did was unspeakable but his dirty deeds were a two party (or in this case 15+) endeavor and I think the women should also be vilified. Where was his agent... Jerry! Someone should have been 'keeping track of the skanks... on the road'

    On to politics...

It has finally happened...It was just a matter of time before someone would act on the unthinkable. An unemployed clown has established the new political party, the Tea Party. Weeks ago, I voiced my concerns for this exact scenario. Hobo thinks it was done by a democrat to get the 'tea partiers' all fired up to pick their candidate...hence "divide and conquer". April fools is over. This is not funny, this is scary. We need to put on our 3-D glasses and stay focused on the business of viability and integrity in our conservative candidates.

    Happy Easter

    Word of the day: hopeful

It was a lazy day. Hobo smoked ribs, they were perfect. (he's getting this smokin' thing down real good) We ate out on the lanai, with 5 cats and one dog circling like sharks.
Eldest child's birthday fell on Easter Sunday for the first time. We thought she would be born on Easter. She is 38. Happy Birthday my darling Froopsie. (that was short for Fruit Fly...don't burn your brain up over that one)
Since this post is a day late, here's wishing you colored egg salad sandwiches, fresh peeps, and loads of chocolate, in all forms.
